Liberation is the act of setting free from internal and social oppression (Afuape, 2011), in 2019 it was Trail fire that raged through our place, turning living essence livelihood, belongings to dust. The dust had barely settled when torrential rains drenched remains, weeping over ashes. These ashes were not just things, houses, furniture, but also trees, ferns, animals all sizes. Next, isolation fear arose form Coronavirus (COVID-19 virus). Isolating people natural environment each other. Through these transmutations, we relied upon resilient nature human spirit survive. This autoethnographic story explores resilience face personal global loss. power storytelling an ancient tradition, stemming a need make meaning lived experience. Each person who tells speaks their ‘biographical position’ unique as storyteller (Denzin, 2014). Stories, or narratives, assisted survival cultures by retelling warnings potential threats.
